| Frank Allen “Little Doc” Dromgoole, age 75, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010. He was born on March 24, 1935 in Runge, Texas to Doc Rushing and Helen Sawyer Dromgoole. He was a life time member of Yoakum Church of Christ, worked for Kaspar Sho-Rack for 23 years, worked at Tandy Brands from 1969-1978 and was part owner of Karnes County Livestock Exchange. Survivors: wife, Kelli Grant Dromgoole of Yoakum; sons, Darrell Dromgoole and wife Julie of Bryan and Jay Dromgoole and wife Paula of Cuero; granddaughter, Amy Dromgoole of Lubbock; step-daughter, Debbie Nance and husband, Johnny of Shiner; 13 grandchildren; sister, Jeanette Galin of San Antonio; niece, Jennifer Burkholder of San Antonio and a great-niece, Avery Burkholder of San Antonio. Preceded in death by: parents; and first wife, Yvonne Houck Dromgoole. Family visitation was from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Mr. Terry Starling and Mr. Garren Stroud officiating. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Buck Turk, Johnny Carter, Dennis Kaspar, John Reiner, Brandon Starling, Travis Starling and Brad Morrison. Honorary pallbearers: Weldon Anthony, Martin Leske, Norman Pennock, Dallas Tackitt, Carroll Carter and Derrel Starling.
