YOAKUM: Mary Edith Polich, age 81, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024. She was born March 27, 1943 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Willie and Anna Bell Cantrell. She was a restaurant owner and a trucking company owner. She enjoyed cooking, baking, working word search puzzles, crocheting and was an animal lover. Survivors: daughters, Claudette Foutz (J.C.), Roberta Salazar (Eric) and Sheri Heath (Ernie); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Cantrell, Ann Harris and Louella Jones; brothers, Dick Cantrell and Troy Cantrell. Preceded in death by: parents; son, George Polich; sisters, Sue Everett and Estelle Cantrell; brothers, Jimmy Cantrell and Johnny Cantrell. No funeral service will be held.
