YOAKUM: Dolores Lola Caballero, age 77, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026. She was born July 18, 1948 in Yoakum to Nick and Minnie Medina Dominguez. She was a nurse aide for many years, a private sitter, operated a bakery and was a promoter. She enjoyed going riding around, visiting family & friends, Senior Citizens bingo and going to different churches. Survivors: daughter, Crystal Rosales; son, Ruben Caballero, Jr (Paula); 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dora Longoria (Jesse) and Rosa Linda Perez. Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Ruben Caballero and a daughter, Jennifer Caballero. Rosary 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Burial St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Adam Barbontin, Jr, Augustine Barbontin, Alexander Barbontin, Ruben Caballero, Jr, Victor Cisneros and Mario Moreno.
